There is more than meets the eye for the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Flax. Bearing a striking resemblance to several colourways including the “Antlia” and “Citron”, this unique shade is set to release as part of Kanye West’s Spring Summer 2020 collection, and here’s everything that we know so far!
Featuring the usual Primeknit construction with a mesh stripe shooting across the laterals, the “Flax” is doused in a creamy beige tone that’s as versatile as it gets. The beloved heel tab has been removed for this release to maintain a sleek and streamlined aesthetic, and down below, you’ll find the famed ribbed midsole that has stayed more or less the same since the silhouette’s debut in 2016.
While Ye could’ve just left the midsole painted beige and called it a day, he has applied a grey portion along the sides for a colour blocked look that is sure to turn heads. Of course, you can’t talk about this without mentioning the full length adidas Boost unit that lays within for comfort and cushioning.
Set to release sometime within the second half of the year alongside the “Linen”, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Flax is a YZY that you don’t want to miss, so be sure to stay tuned for more updates as it develops!
