White Mountaineering X Adidas LXCON Blue

After making their runway debut at Paris Fashion Week last summer, the brand new White Mountaineering x adidas LXCON Blue has finally been officially unveiled. While this certainly isn’t Yosuke Aizawa’s first Three Stripes collaboration, it’s definitely one of his best, and here’s everything that you need to know!

Based off the cult classic Lexicon that made waves all the way back in the ’90s, the Blue is an ultra contemporary take on it. Painted in a striking blue and black colourway, WM’s signature utilitarian and technical aesthetic is in full force here. Taping runs across the entire mesh upper for a sleek and streamlined look, while the usual laces have been replaced in favour of a buckle system that’s as rugged as it gets.

Ozweego inspired piping runs across the entire shoe, peppered with “WHITE MOUNTAINEERING” in an Italicised font, and down below, an extra chunky adiPRENE midsole is present for comfort and cushioning that’s unlike anything else out there. To round it all off, the Japanese imprint’s signature hole punch tag graces the heel, finalising the design.
