The visionary creative that is Jun Takahashi has reunited with the Swoosh once again for the brand new Undercover x Nike ISPA OverReact Black. Releasing as part of the four sneaker Spring Summer 2021 collection, this contemporary runner isn’t for the faint of heart. Building on top of the brand new OverReact silhouette that debuted in this season’s “Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, Adapt” line up, here’s everything that you need to know.

Painted in a crispy clean black and white colour palette, the Undercover OverReact features a premium mesh and suede construction with a luxe leather Swoosh gliding across the lateral and medial side panels, complete with the Japanese icon’s signature rose motif embroidered just on top. A stippled lacing system adds depth to the design, while “CHAO” and “BALANCE” adorns the toe box of the left and right shoe respectively.

Of course, you can’t talk about Takahashi latest project without mentioning that insanely chunky React foam midsole down below. Using data taken from past React silhouettes like the React Element 87, the unit has been tuned to the natural movement on the foot, resulting in the optimum amount of cushioning with minimal bulk.
