adidas hits the shelves with its Superskate, partnering up with SNEEZE Magazine to pay homage to the OG silhouette. Since 2008, the print magazine has provided a long history of contributions to skateboard culture through its journalism and photography. After collaborating with Reebok on a Club C edition in 2020, the Superskate capsule gives SNEEZE another opportunity to unveil its footwear toolkit.
Arriving in a full-suede upper, the thicker profile on the 3-Stripes packs an extra punch thanks to the contrasting black background. Around the collar, the folks at SNEEZE Magazine have opted for technical nylon, giving these an edge over your less-specialised skateboarding shoes. They also come equipped with fewer eyestays and a set of thick gold laces that give the Superskate a ‘90s aesthetic, throwing it back to the days when chunky footwear and fat laces were all the rage. Co-branding can be seen on the foil lettering and tongue patch which makes the magazine’s presence obvious on the shoe.
These dropped on the adidas CONFIRMED app on the 25th of February and are available on the adidas website as well as other select retailers. Find out how to grab your pair by keeping it locked into The Sole Supplier!
