Sean Wotherspoon has got to be one of the busiest people in the game, and he’s not stopping anytime soon. When he joined Team Three Stripes over two years ago he set out to create some of the most environmentally-friendly sneakers in the industry, and that’s exactly how you can describe the Sean Wotherspoon Orketro.
Taking on the Orketro, while this shoe looks like something plucked straight from the ’90s, it was actually unveiled earlier this summer. Obviously inspired by retro runners from adidas‘ rich archives, the Round Two co-founder has applied his signature multicolour spin to it. Working on top of a breathable pink mesh base, white recycled canvas adds a pop of contrast to the mix.
Embroidered blue stitching runs across the entire shoe, while the aggressively-styled midsole has been finished off with a soft yellow hue for a vintage vibe. Co-branded detailing adorns the tongues, and to round it all off, Wotherspoon has placed his initials on the toebox like an artist signing his latest piece.
Just like his Superstar Superstar and EQT projects, the Sean Wotherspoon x adidas Orketro is expected to sell out fast, so make sure you secure your size while you can!
