As part of its celebration of its 30th anniversary, Saucony Shadow 6000 goes for a bold colourway inspired by edibles with the new Saucony Shadow 6000 Foodfight.
The toe box is a cream coloured suede overlaid with a very light grey suede toe cap. But boring stops there when it switches to a mishmash of outrageous textures and shades. A wavy avocado green suede covers the mid-panel with a striped orange peeking out on the lateral profile of the left shoe while pepperoni-and-cheese-speckled leather makes up the mid-panel wave on the lateral side of the right shoe with an eggplant purple suede cut-out right beneath. Chocolate brown covers the eye stays on the lateral side while an icing-like baby blue is on the medial side.
Cotton candy pink with yellow cut-outs in tumbled leather appears on the quarter on the lateral side of the left shoe and on the medial side of the right shoe. The mesh sock liners are also in fast food colours of yellow and orange. Both shoes have speckled white midsoles but the mix-and-match theme continues on the outsoles, with a green on the left and a combo of blue and red on the right.
