Founded in 1898, Saucony has been a reputable footwear brand that has seen a lot of success in the world of running. With their Endorphin lines being a favourite amongst avid runners, gaining the same respect within the sneakerhead community has proven harder than expected. Having received mixed reviews on their Saucony Grid 2000s retro, let’s hope the ProGrid Triumph 4 gets the warm welcome it deserves.
This “Black” colourway opts to dress the techy runner in a binary colour scheme, drawing more focus on the individual details and features. The semi-translucent heel casing is one of the ProGrid’s stability features, using holes to ditch any unnecessary weight. The other component can be found underfoot, where the mid portion uses a plastic composite to give the sole enough of a rigid feel. On the inside of the upper, Saucony’s ARCH-LOCK system prevents your foot from over-pronating and provides solid arch support. Branding on the tongue boasts Saucony’s spell-out logo in white, with a holographic finish on the Triumph 4 titling below.
If you’re after a shoe that matches nicely with your functional wardrobe then this is the trainer for you. Make sure to keep a lookout on The Sole Supplier for Saucony’s ProGrid Triumph 4!
