We love a good PUMA Cell Alien collaboration, and the brand new Rhude x PUMA Cell Alien Black takes the cake as one of the best ones of the year. Created with the help of Rhuigi Villaseñor, this is a shoe that you don’t want to sleep on, and here’s why!
Taking on the classic Cell Alien silhouette that launched back in 1998 and was revived earlier this year, the Rhude x PUMA Cell Alien Black features an all black upper that builds on an ultra breathable mesh base with premium leather elements featuring throughout. The iconic Formstrip motif hits the lateral and medial side panels while “Rhude x PUMA” co-branding makes its way to the tongue via a leather patch.
As you move downwards, you’ll be greeted with an off-white foam midsole that contrasts beautifully with the murdered out upper. This unit has been fitted with a comfortable green bubble around the heel, as well as hexagonal cells underneath for extra cushioning and protection with every step.
What is there not to love about the Rhude x PUMA Cell Alien Black?! A chunky shoe that stands for everything the retro trend is about, these made a debut in July but expect a much wider release sometime in early August!
