The Puma x Filling Pieces Blaze of Glory Strap brings together the iconic look of two inspired sneaker brands. As a first for 2016, this collaboration sees Dutch based Filling Pieces impart their creativity on a much loved and contemporary silhouette. Although we haven’t seen any other collabs from them this year, the brand have been busy with an extensive summer and winter collection.
Famed for their impressive use of luxurious materials, Filling Pieces is a popular alternative to adidas and Nike. Despite gaining success in their own right, they have chosen to work with Puma and the results are exciting.
A fused blend of materials covers the upper from the woven leather construct on the toe to a neoprene midfoot strap and mesh material on the rear. The high top construct delivers comfort and support to the ankle, while showcasing that classic Filling Pieces look.
The shoe is made even more eye-catching thanks to a crisp, white midsole underfoot and bronze coloured lace tips. Finally, a subtle embossed ‘FP’ logo hits the tongue to celebrate this unity of sneaker greatness.
