PEANUTS X PUMA Future Rider Black

Working in partnership with American cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, German sportswear label PUMA unveils the PEANUTS x PUMA Future Rider Black scheduled for a global release to kickstart the new year.

Using PUMA’s 1980 running shoes as the canvas for this collaboration, the PUMA Future Rider is a silhouette loved for its super light-weight feel and ultra-comfortable cushioning.

Dressed in a colour arrangement of stealth black, mustard yellow, and cherry red, Schulz accentuates the design by doodling images of Snoopy and Charlie Brown (characters from his legendary 1950 comic strip series Peanuts) on PUMA’s formstrip logo on the lateral and medial sides. Mesh and nylon upper with suede overlays adorn the structure, and patent leather in a black colorway crafts the heel tab stamped with PUMA’s signature cat logo completes the design. Beneath the feet, a crisp white EVA midsole lined with a durable rubber outsole houses the upper while giving the wearer a comfortable ride all day long.
