When we first saw the Off-White x Nike Waffle Racer White Green at Virgil Abloh’s ‘TRACK & FIELD’ runway showcase at the end of last year, we knew instantly that it was a must cop. Hands down one of the most unique sneakers ever made, it’s also one of the cleanest too, so make sure you check it out!
Made for those who don’t mind being the centre of attention, the Off-White x Nike Waffle Racer White Green features a ‘White’ nylon upper while a see through ripstop materials keeps it covered for added water resistance. Clean flat laces tie the shoe together, but in typical Virgil fashion, he goes a step further with a unique rope lacing system that’s painted in ‘Electric Green’ for a shocking pop of colour.
Moving downwards, you’ll find a foam midsole that’s lined with hundreds of rubberised spikes – a nod to the shoe’s track-ready inspo. The sneaker is then rounded off with deconstructed detailing throughout, including an oversized Swoosh and the classic zip tie that’s dipped in a forest green hue.
