Nike Nina Chanel Abney X Air Jordan 2 White Red

New York-based American pop-surrealist artist, Nina Chanel Abney, has partnered with the Jordan Brand to release the quirky Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 2 White Red.

The highly malleable AJ2 silhouette is the perfect canvas for Abney. The shoe’s upper has a smooth white leather base with a light grey suede toe cap and a riveting triangular quarter panel with a glossy white snakeskin finish. The extended heel panels which form a wedge design on the lateral and medial profiles of the shoe are made from striking red smooth leather. The midsoles of the sneaker are Sail-coloured while the outsole is a combination of white and red sections. Completing the design of the shoe is an oversized framed hangtag of Abney’s basketball-themed art and the artist’s name printed in black on the red insole.
