The Jordan sneaker inspired by MJ’s brief foray into baseball, the Jordan Series 01, has a charming new release that’s really tied up with a ribbon. Meet the Jordan Series 01 Navy Velvet.

This Series 01 has a shimmery, luxe all-velvet upper in the titular Navy, matching the padded nylon navy tongue, the mesh sock liner and the wide, soft satin ribbons that replace the usual laces. A white tongue tab with black Jordan Series branding and a red Jumpman stands out against the navy tongue. A navy Jumpman is printed on the lateral midsole while a mismatched navy insole features a white Jumpman on the left shoe and the text “Swing for the fence” printed in white on the right shoe. A Sail-coloured midsole and a Navy-coloured tread round out the look of this sneaker.
