Nike BRSB OG White Red

The Nike Cortez-inspired skateboarding shoe, the Nike BRSB, has a new iteration showing off primary colours from an OG Cortez colourway. Meet the Nike BRSB OG White Red.

Staying true to its inspiration, this BRSB recreates a 1972 Cortez look but with a few unique touches. One of these is the toe portion of the upper which is wrapped in cream suede where it meets the cream eye stay panel with its zigzagged edges and the tumbled leather profile Swooshes in bold Varsity Red on both sides of the shoe. The mid-panel after the Swoosh until the heel is made from white canvas. Branding stands out in red on the tongue tab and the mini Swooshes on the lateral toe. The red heel tabs show off Nike text branding on the left shoe and SB branding on the right. A pure white midsole houses a React foam drop-in insole showing through a translucent blue window. A sawtooth-patterned white rubber outsole caps off the design of this shoe.
