Nike Air Max Furyosa Rattan Obsidian

The futuristic Nike Air Max Furyosa has done it again. Its latest edition, the Nike Air Max Furyosa Rattan Obsidian, pushes toward the outer limit of design with a colourful palette.

The base of the upper is a simple Summit White textile, making it the perfect backdrop for more complex overlays. A Rattan synthetic leather wraps around the shoe, from toe to heel. On top of the Rattan are patches of Obsidian suede and leather patches on the vamp and the heel area. Light mint green mark part of the eye stays, the lining of the eye stays, the first layer of the Air unit and part of the sock liner. Royal blue stands out on the eye stays, the tongue pull tab and the heel pull tab. A pop of crimson red comes out on the tongue and the heel stabiliser. Mustard laces wrap around the shoe, giving it an extra oomph. Lastly, the speckled Obsidian Grind outsole shows that it’s made of recycled materials.
