Nike Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 Year Of The Rabbit

Within Nike’s Chinese New Year pack for 2023 is a solid line-up of staple silhouettes, with the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 now being included. The Zoom CMFT 2 of the Air Jordan 1 line has slowly been embraced by sneakerheads, thanks to its noticeable changes that don’t detract from the overall spirit of the original shoe. The “Year of the Rabbit” colourway is easy on the eye and will have no trouble increasing the Zoom CMFT 2’s fanbase because of its light-hearted execution.

A mocha brown, a soft spot for sneakerheads, climbs its way onto the Swoosh and new-collar panel. The beautiful balance between the khaki green on the tip and lace panel, versus the light blue on the heel tab, gives the upper a light foundation to build on. The midsole carries on this gentle motif with its cream hue, complemented ever so well by the partially brown sole below. The laces find themselves slightly yellowed and wonderfully match the exposed mesh collar lining. The traditional wings insignia is dipped in gold, and debossed into the brown collar, symbolising the prosperity and wealth that the Chinese New Year celebrations hope to bring.
