If you’re a true sneakerhead, then we have no doubts you’re familiar with Tinker Hatfield, the genius behind Nike’s renowned Air Max lineage. But did you know he also invented the Air Huarache in 1991? The neoprene-woven Nike shoe is still popular today as it was before, and this newest rendition titled the Nike Air Huarache Sail Red Black shows that it’s here to stay.
Unlike other models from the Swoosh team’s Air lineup, the Huarache boasts a diverse design that made it so iconic. The upper sees a neoprene and spandex socks build that makes the user’s feet feel comfortably hugged.
Here we see those two given colours of black, red, and white, and all emphasised by the supple suede exoskeleton caging around the sides and front that is in a sail hue. The rubber heel strap that we all know and love is still present along with the model’s circular Air Huarache emblem on the tongue. Rounding off this clean setup is an Air midsole providing comfort that lasts all day.
