The Kobe Bryant x adidas Crazy 97, formerly known as the EQT Elevation, is celebrating its 25th birthday. Presenting one of its commemorative releases, the Kobe Bryant x adidas Crazy 97 EQT Lakers.
A bit of trivia: this Crazy 97 was the one worn by Kobe Bryant during the 1997 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. This shoe’s upper is dressed in the purple, black and white colours of the Lakers, with purple on most of the overlays and black on the mesh base and liners. The Three Stripes on the lateral side of the shoe are white. A gold adidas medallion can be found right behind the Stripes on the lateral side, matching the gold branding on the tongue and the Three Stripes on the tongue pull tab. A white midsole and a black herringbone-patterned outsole cap off the style of this sneaker.
