Keith Haring X Reebok GL 6000 Green

Reebok has just dropped its collab collection with American pop artist, Keith Haring, known for his New York City graffiti-inspired work. One of these is the Keith Haring x Reebok GL 6000 Green.

This particular pair features Keith Haring’s piece from the Keith Haring Foundation Archive. The dog form and the human form mimic each other, creating a conversation around what it means to be human and what dogs represent. Aesthetically, this GL 6000 is a stunning green keeper.

The base of the upper is a bright green textile. Suede in the same colour wraps around the toe while tumbled leather covers the heel and the eye stays crossing over the mid-panel. Pops of yellow appear on the edge of the eye-stays and sits on the heel area of the midsole. Bright orange also peeps out of the midsole, below the vamp. Last, but the least, Keith Haring’s dog and human illustrations embellish the heel.
