This shoe features the artist’s trademark colour palette with complex details that pay tribute to artisanship. The upper uses organic cotton canvas in black with a slightly frayed finish on the edges. The most interesting details of this shoe are the clear TPU vamp and quarter panels, giving it a peek-a-boo touch. Other distinctive design components of the shoe are the flat measuring tape-like laces and a star chevron print at the quarter panels. With this shoe, Vides alludes to the materials, tools, and methods used in the everyday life of an artist.
