Montreal-based design studio and frequent sneaker brand collaborator, JJJJound, has just partnered up with Reebok to bring you the JJJJound x Reebok NPC II White.
The Reebok NPC (or the Newport Classic) was an iconic 80s tennis shoe. The Justin Saunders-led JJJJound is just the right partner to update the NPC with a low-key and refined aesthetic. The first thing you’ll notice about the shoe is its minimalist look. The upper is dominated by white pebbled leather from heel to toe, matching the laces. A terry-covered sock liner gives it an inviting and comfy look. The nylon tongues are cream-coloured and unadorned. JJJJound text branding is embossed in gold on the lateral quarters. An off-white sole unit with debossed Reebok branding on the lateral side rounds out the sneaker’s design.
