In collaboration with the community agency Girls Are Awesome, this shoe pays homage to their female-inspired brand values. Previously, the brand has collaborated with the sportswear giant a few times, and now they’re bringing back the ’84 Forum model.

Historically a basketball staple, the colourway of this ‘platforum’ reminds us of the yellow and purple jerseys sported by the LA Lakers. In addition to the deep purple hue accents covering the cream upper, the exaggerated sole also features a white and purple striped ring.

While the iconic three-stripe adidas branding takes a backseat via subtle stitching, ‘GIRLS ARE AWESOME’ stands loud and proud on the ankle strap, tongue tab and lateral midfoot.
