It would seem like the hottest sneaker-related takes are coming out of your local watering hole these days. Between The Basement shooting its promo campaign in the comfort of a Pub and New Balance releasing a Pub Pack capsule back in 2010, there might be some genius behind having a pint in hand. After its “Reported Sightings” pack in 2022, END is on a storytelling streak with its partner Reebok. Releasing in time for St. Patrick’s day, END turns to the trusty Stout for some much-needed inspiration. A Black suede on the upper represents the heavy-bodied beer, complementing the simple panelling of the Club C. Creamy laces match the cushioned terry lining found around the ankle collar, both nodding to the foamy head that always sits gracefully atop the body. Underfoot, you’ll find an accompanying brown sole that represents the coffee-like notes that remain present among the drink’s rich flavours. The END moniker can be found under the Reebok insignia on the tongue label, as well as the insoles that read “Drink Responsibly”, the campaign’s slogan.
