The Def Jam x PUMA Clyde White is the latest collaborative pair to launch between the legendary New York record label and the namesake German footwear brand. The Clyde is the silhouette of choice, a clean low-top classic sneaker that showcases classic design elements.

Def Jam Recordings was founded in 1984 by Rick Rubin and is widely recognised across the hip-hop community for bringing legendary artists such as Kanye West, Rihanna and Jay-Z amongst others into the limelight. To celebrate the label’s success, this limited edition sneaker showcases how simple designs can often be the best. The upper is crafted from smooth leather panels and the clean-white colour pallet is accentuated with a burgundy suede Formstrip – Puma’s signature branding that was originally used to stitch the label’s early prototypes together.

Dual branding is located on the tongue for a luxury effect, alongside a tonal-white Clyde signature detail and another Def Jam logo at the heel panels. White laces and a co-branded insole complete this subtle yet tasteful collaborative pair.
