The Craig Green x adidas Polta AKH II Brown is one of several collaborative pairs releasing as part of a capsule collection between adidas originals and the highly-coveted London-based designer Craig Green. The silhouette was first debuted during the designer’s SS20 runway show at LFWM.
Green borrows the familiar looking sole unit from the adidas Originals Kamanda, a pair that released in 2017 and has been a constant ever since. He totally reworks the upper to showcase a refreshing design that features translucent panels, three-stripe branding and militaristic-looking metal lace loops.
The colourway consists of earthy-hues, showcasing brown, red and beige that ties in with the colour scheme seen throughout the accompanying runway collection. A dual-branded logo can be found on the tongue alongside the label’s signature Trefoil logo on the heel in red. The look is completed with a gum-rubber sole, a welcome addition to any sneaker in our books.
The Craig Green x adidas Polta AKH II Brown attracted heavy attention when it was witnessed on the runway from both sneaker enthusiasts and high-end fashion critics. It’s set to release soon so make sure to hit the bell icon above to stay notified with the latest regarding this high-profile launch.
