It pays homage to Joan Benoit Samuelson – the legendary winner of the first women’s Olympic marathon in 1984. Here we take a closer look at the Beautiful x Nike Air Huarache Ultra Premium Black which is expected to be one of the most sought after styles.
All silhouettes from this collection will feature in the much loved ‘Triple Black’ colourway. It’s a powerful theme for a shoe that’s inspired by and for powerful women. Premium leather is also utilised with a rough textured surface not dissimilar to that iconic elephant print.
The lightweight construct is made even more impressive with neoprene utilised for the inner lining. As with previous Huarache Ultra renditions, this boasts that super comfortable yet breathable fit. To complete the look, a black midsole sits underfoot complete with an encapsulated Air Unit. The words ‘There is no finish line’ are inscribed to the insole as one last nod to Samuelson’s achievements.
