Rewind to 1995 and the dot-com boom was in full effect and one of adidas’ most under-appreciated and under-utilised silhouettes was launched, the Lexicon. Now in 2019, the 3-Stripe brand has reintroduced the shoe and the adidas LXCON Orchid Tint | EE5135 is one of the best colourways to date.
Starting with the technology that has gone into the shoe. Coming with a full-mesh upper, this allows for a breathable and ventilated wear. This is then coupled with an EVA midsole and heel cushioning to make for one of the most comfortable sneakers on the market. Rounded off with an eyestay collar tube to even pressure distribution across the foot.
When it comes to colourway, adidas have opted for a toned down Orchid Tint. This off-white colour allows the silhouette to be the star of the show and finalised with 3-Stripe branding on the medial and lateral sides. The adidas LXCON Orchid Tint | EE5135 is available from select retailers from Monday September 30 and will retail at £90.
