Lightweight nylon covers the upper of the adidas I-5923, previously known as the adidas Iniki. Although the name has been changed due to legal issues, all the exact same style cues features. This is a shoe which combines both contemporary and iconic detailing. The upper is inspired by 70s era footwear complete with crinkled three-stripe branding. This sits above a chunky slab of Boost which provides a modern contrast.
The ‘Trace Purple’ adidas I-5923 is finished off with a gum coloured outsole and ‘I-5923’ branding is marked across the sidewall in gold foil. adidas Originals branding is stamped to the tongue as yet another homage to the old school.
