adidas is doing a retro revival of its El Dorado silhouette. In particular, it is bringing back the OG colourways associated with the hip-hop band, RUN DMC, from 1987. Meet the iconic adidas El Dorado White Black Red once again.

As the iconic RUN DMC song goes, these mid-cut El Dorado shoes are “funky, fresh, and yes, cold on my feet” in the basic colours of “Off White / Core Black / Scarlet”. The upper is constructed mostly from smooth Off White leather. The Three Stripes stand out on the medial and lateral mid-panels of the shoe in Core Black and Scarlet. The collar is accented by Scarlet while the toe box is bordered by a black accent. The black heel clip matches the simple black Trefoil logo sans the adidas text branding on the spine of the heel. An aged Off-White midsole and a black rubber outsole cap off the look of this sneaker.
